Has anyone else been following the Parkville case? I feel like there are so many layers to unravel, but something that's been on my mind is the 14-year-old girl who managed to escape. Imagine how terrifying it must have been for her. To witness such a traumatic event and then have the presence of mind to call 911 is incredible. I can't stop thinking about what kind of support she has now and how she's processing all this. The fact that she survived means she must hold crucial memories of that night. I hope she's receiving all the help she needs to navigate through this unimaginable experience. Also, it makes you think about the hidden struggles families go through and how sometimes those struggles can escalate into something so tragic. My heart goes out to her and to the family and friends mourning the loss of their loved ones.
