Just wanted to share some thoughts about the impact of community involvement—or the lack thereof—on unsolved cases like Eddington Daveon’s. It’s so incredibly frustrating to see cases go cold because people are scared or unwilling to speak up. I totally understand that fear is a very real factor, especially in neighborhoods with high crime rates, but it’s heartbreaking to think that staying silent just allows these tragedies to happen over and over again. Daveon’s family has been incredibly strong in their efforts to bring attention to this case. They’ve worked tirelessly with local organizations to keep his memory alive and push for justice. I think it’s so important for us to support them and the police in whatever ways we can, even if it’s just by spreading the word or encouraging others to come forward. Sometimes it just takes one brave person to spark a change and bring the truth to light. Sending love and support to Daveon's family and hoping that, someday soon, someone will step up with the information needed to crack this case. It’s never too late for justice.
