It's absolutely devastating to think about what happened to Armond Latimore, especially on a day that was supposed to be filled with joy and celebration. It's so surreal to imagine he was just sharing his happiness about his birthday on Facebook moments before this senseless act occurred. ? I can't even begin to comprehend what his family, particularly his mother, Chandra Payne, must be feeling. Something that really bothers me about this case is the getaway car situation. The fact that the Pontiac was found burnt and it was previously stolen adds a disturbing layer to the crime. It seems like the perpetrators were ready to cover up their tracks, but how could they do something so cold-blooded in broad daylight? It just feels like there are people out there who might know more than they're letting on. I just hope someone comes forward with information. CrimeStoppers is such a valuable resource, and I urge anyone who knows something to use it. It's tragic how gun violence continues to plague St. Louis. Hopefully, we can start to see some changes to prevent these horrific acts.
