I've been thinking a lot about the case of Diamond Bradley and the location where it all happened—the Economy Inn & Suites in Joplin. It's so unsettling to know that such a violent incident took place in what should be a safe space for individuals and families. I read somewhere that Diamond and his friends often frequented that area, which adds an extra layer of tragedy knowing it was a familiar place to him. It makes me wonder about the safety measures at these motels and how often these places might witness similar incidents. There's got to be more we can do as a community to ensure safety for everyone. My heart goes out to Diamond’s family and friends—they must be haunted by this every time they pass by that area. Has anyone else looked into the history of crime around that location, or is this an isolated incident? It's crucial for us to discuss ways we can prevent such tragedies from happening again.
