I’ve been thinking a lot about what Steven Marler Jr.’s sons, Clayton and Brenden, have had to endure these past few years. It must be incredibly painful to lose a father in such a violent manner, especially when he was someone they looked up to and loved dearly. I can't imagine how they cope with that loss every day. It's hard enough growing up without a parent, but to have them taken away through such a senseless act of violence is beyond difficult. I hope the community continues to rally around these boys and provide them with love and support. We should remember Steven not just as a victim, but as a loving father and a man who cared deeply for his family. My thoughts are with all the families affected by this tragedy. It makes me wonder how we can prevent such losses from happening in the future.
