I have been thinking a lot about the location of this tragic event—Amberg Park. It's such a public space, filled with families, children, and people just trying to enjoy their day. It's chilling to think that something so violent could happen in such a communal area. I wonder if the layout of the park played any role in how the shooting unfolded. Was it an area that's easy to escape from or does it have places to hide which might have allowed the shooter to avoid being seen? Given the number of people there, it's hard to believe nobody saw anything that could help, but maybe the shooter was able to blend into the crowd quickly. For anyone familiar with Amberg Park, is there anything about its layout or usual activity that could shed light on why someone would pick it for such a terrible act? It’s so hard for the family not to have answers and I can't imagine the pain of losing someone like Travon who contributed so much to his community. I hope someone finds the courage to speak up soon.
