I’ve been thinking about the lack of concrete information on Thomas R. Johnson’s case from 2008, and it’s incredibly frustrating to see how little progress has been made. Given the sparse details, I wonder if there's anything more the community can do to help reignite interest in this case. It seems like the story was buried almost as quickly as it surfaced, which is so unfair not only to Thomas but to his family and friends who deserve answers and justice.
Are there truly no witnesses, or is someone out there who might remember something being overlooked? The area around Washington Park East Cemetery is well-trafficked, so you’d think that someone might have seen or heard something around that time. Even the smallest piece of information could be crucial.
It’s disheartening to consider that there could be critical details waiting in the shadows because no one has come forward or maybe the right questions haven’t been asked yet. How do we mobilize a renewed effort to get this case back on people’s radar? Something doesn’t sit right with how quickly this went cold.
