I've been thinking a lot about the ripple effect of this whole tragedy. It's so unnerving how domestic violence can escalate to such a catastrophic outcome. I can't even begin to imagine what Toni Washburn must have endured in her life. It's incredibly sad, not just for those who knew and loved her, but for everyone who feels unsafe in their own relationships. I've read that often these situations can escalate if not addressed in time, and it just makes me wonder how many cries for help go unnoticed. My heart goes out to both families dealing with these unimaginable losses. We really need to keep pushing for more awareness and support for domestic violence victims. It might not change the past, but hopefully, it can prevent similar tragedies in the future.
