I've been following the case of Janese Crawford, and something that's been on my mind is how this tragedy highlights the broader issue of safety on our highways. It's so unnerving to think about how a simple drive can turn into something so horrific. Janese had her whole life ahead of her, with plans and dreams that were cruelly snatched away in a moment. It makes me reflect on how vulnerable we are on the roads and the need for increased measures to curb violence like this. My heart goes out to her family, especially her little boy who will grow up without his mother. It's hard to fathom their pain and frustration with the lack of progress in the investigation. I truly hope that justice arrives swiftly, not just for Janese, but for all those who are dealing with similar losses due to violence in St. Louis. It's got to stop.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Janese Crawford’s case closely and found myself thinking a lot about the ripple effect of her tragic death on her little boy, Ja'Siah. It’s truly awful to think about how he was robbed of growing up with his mom by his side. I imagine many of you are as heartened as I am to see how the community has rallied around her family. The generosity shown through the GoFundMe means so much during this incredibly tough time, but it can’t replace what Ja'Siah and their family have lost.
Also, thinking about her journey to become a nail technician, it’s a poignant reminder of her aspirations and dreams for a better future. Janese was taking steps to create a brighter path for herself and Ja'Siah, which makes this senseless act even more tragic. The fact that her sister was with her during the shooting and witnessed it must be incredibly traumatic; I can’t begin to imagine how that experience has affected her.
I hope the continual discussions around her story keep the search for justice alive and also bring more attention to the dire need to tackle violence in St. Louis. Sending love and support to her family and friends.
I came across Janese Crawford's case recently and just can't stop thinking about how promising her future seemed. It truly hits hard to read that she was just starting school to become a nail technician. I think about her dedication and the effort she was putting in to create a better life for herself and her baby boy. It's beyond unfair that her dreams were stolen in such a senseless way. All my thoughts go to her family, especially her son, Ja'Siah. It's so important for the community to rally around them right now. If anyone has information that could help, I really hope they come forward soon. We need justice not just for Janese and her family, but to help make St. Louis a safer place.
