Has anyone else been following the online discussions about Mustafa Malick Pool's case? I’ve been thinking a lot about the role social media could play in gathering new leads. One of the things that’s stood out to me is how digital platforms are being used in other cases to bring new attention and even evidence to the table. I wonder if there might be more that can be done here using online communities or social networks to encourage people to share what they know. I know there’s a lot of fear involved, especially when it comes to retaliation, but social media can sometimes provide a level of anonymity or distance that might make people more likely to come forward. Maybe there's a campaign that could be launched specifically aimed at reaching those on the periphery of the crime who might hold a small but significant piece of the puzzle. It's just so sad to see Mustafa’s case still hanging in limbo. His family deserves answers, and I believe with the right approach, someone could be motivated to share what they know. Thoughts?
