I recently stumbled upon the case of Carrell Wright and something that has been bothering me is the timing of the call to the police. Does anyone else find it strange that the shots were reported at 3:40 a.m. but we haven't heard anything about potential witnesses? Wabada Avenue isn't exactly deserted, even at that hour, and I'm curious if anyone saw or heard anything more. Given how close-knit some neighborhoods in Saint Louis can be, it feels like there should have been at least someone who noticed suspicious activity.
This also makes me think about the woman who was found with him. Did she possibly see the shooter, and is it a case where she can't remember, or maybe she’s too afraid to speak out?
Let's remind ourselves that keeping these conversations going can sometimes spark a memory or urge someone to finally step forward. Carrell’s family deserves answers, and hopefully, his story will see justice one day. If anyone has ideas on community outreach that might prompt more information to surface, I'd love to hear them.
Did anyone else hear about the candlelight vigil the community held for Carrell Wright a few weeks after his passing? I'm really moved by how his neighbors came together to honor his memory and support his family. From what I read, the vigil was not just a way to mourn his loss, but also to raise awareness about the gun violence that's affecting so many lives in Saint Louis. It’s incredible how people gathered not only to pay their respects but also to encourage each other to share any information they might have. I truly hope more folks in the community step forward, as even the smallest detail could be the key that helps bring justice for Carrell and peace to those who cared about him.
