Hi everyone, I've been following the Patrick Leeper case closely, and something that's been haunting me is the community's reaction to his death. It's clear from interviews and articles that neighbors are genuinely shattered by what happened. I can't even begin to imagine how eerie it must be to hear gunshots in your neighborhood, but to realize it was connected to the loss of someone so well-loved must be incredibly tough. Does anyone else find it perplexing that while people reported gunshots, there seemed to be a delay in discovering Patrick? I wonder if there have been discussions in the community about improving neighborhood watch efforts or communication with law enforcement to prevent tragedies like this from happening again. Thinking of Patrick's family and friends. It's so vital for communities to come together and support each other during such awful times. Stay safe, everyone.
