Hi everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of community gatherings and places like the Bad Habits Social Club in all this. It seems like such a tight-knit area where everyone knows each other and finds a sense of belonging, and yet it’s also where this horrendous incident occurred. It’s just so tragic to think that places meant for connection can become scenes of such violence. I can’t help but wonder about the impact on the local community after what happened. Erie, the regulars, and everyone working there at the time... They must be reeling from the shock and trauma. If anyone here is from St. Louis or has more insight into how the community is doing these days, I’d love to hear about how they’re coping or what support has been put in place. Sending thoughts to Willie’s family and friends, and hoping for healing and peace for everyone affected.
