It's incredibly difficult to process the loss of Kiaunu Jones and the pain her loved ones must be enduring right now. One thing that's been on my mind is the impact this has had on their community in Florissant. I read that they held a candlelight vigil to honor Kiaunu's memory and offer support to those grieving. It shows how tight-knit and compassionate this community is, rallying around each other in such a devastating time. It’s moments like these when people truly need one another, and it’s comforting to see her friends, family, and neighbors stand together. If anyone knows of any foundations or support services that have been set up in her memory, please share. We need to keep the conversation going about the resources available to those in potentially dangerous situations. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy, especially their young son, who has such a difficult road ahead.
