I've been following Carl J. Brown's case since it hit the news, and my heart goes out to his friends and family. It must be so difficult not having the answers they deserve. One detail that really bothers me is how evidence at the scene pointed to a violent struggle. It makes you wonder what actually happened in those last moments and why someone would target Carl. He seemed like such an integral part of his community, and it's unsettling to think about the possibility of someone harming him in his own home. I really hope that with time, someone with information will come forward. It's infuriating when cases like this go cold because it feels like justice is just out of reach. The increased violence in the area around that time must have been terrifying for residents, and I can't imagine how it's affected the community. Sending strength to everyone involved in this case, especially his loved ones. Stay strong and hopeful.
