Wow, the devastation the Barton family must be going through is just unimaginable. I was reading through some older news articles and noticed that Brandon Barton’s murder took place in broad daylight. It’s just unreal to think that this can happen in a community where people go about their daily routines. I know sometimes the focus is all about finding the suspect, but can you imagine the trauma of those neighbors who stumbled upon the scene or even heard the gunshot? Not to mention the toll it must take on Brandon’s friends and family who have to pass by that same block, knowing what happened. Does anyone have any insights on whether there have been increased police patrols or any community efforts to address safety in the Baden neighborhood since the incident? Community healing is so vital here. Praying for peace for his loved ones and the neighborhood.
