Has anyone else been following the developments in the Brandon Rainey and Jahmiere Green case? My heart goes out to their families, it must be incredibly difficult to go through the trial process while still grieving such a devastating loss. It’s a bit chilling to think about how surveillance footage played a major role in nailing down Cleon D. White. Imagine how different things might be without that video evidence putting the pieces together. I’m really grateful for the work done by law enforcement and the prosecutor’s office, but it also makes me think about how many other cases might remain unsolved without such clear evidence. There’s a weird mix of relief and sadness in this case getting a resolution, knowing it won't bring Brandon and Jahmiere back. Sending support to everyone involved and hoping this leads to a safer community for everyone in Kansas City.
