I’ve been thinking a lot about the friends and extended family members who are left grappling with what happened to Kaylee Mae Brooks and her family. It must be incredibly difficult for them to process such an unimaginable loss. I can't even begin to fathom how they are dealing with the aftermath, and my heart really goes out to them as they navigate through this tragedy. It's also frustrating to realize how desperately Roseann tried to signal for help through her social media posts. It raises so many concerns about how crucial it is for there to be a better system in place to protect those who speak out about domestic violence. We always hear about the warning signs, but it feels like the response just isn't quick or strong enough to prevent these horrors. I hope those impacted the most find some semblance of peace or justice, even if it's just knowing that this heartbreaking case might initiate positive changes in laws or support systems. Big hugs to all who knew and loved Kaylee and the rest of the family.
