Hey everyone, It’s incredibly sad to hear about another young life lost so senselessly. I wanted to talk about the role the community plays after such tragedies. After Deontae's death, it seems like the neighborhood really came together to address the violence that’s been affecting them. Locals are pushing for increased safety and support measures, which I think is crucial in preventing future incidents like this. It's clear that people are not only mourning Deontae but also trying to honor him by striving for positive change. This reinforces how vital it is for communities to unite in times of loss, not just to demand justice but also to ensure a safer environment for all kids growing up there. It's painful to see how often these discussions arise, but maybe, just maybe, there's a glimmer of hope in the community’s strength and solidarity. Keeping Deontae’s family, friends, and neighbors in my thoughts. Let’s hope they get the justice and peace they deserve.
