I was thinking about how technology plays such a crucial role in investigations these days and got curious about how the ShotSpotter activation worked in the case of Brandon Ellis. It really shows just how quickly police can start piecing things together now. Imagine if ShotSpotter hadn't been there to alert the officers right away? It might have taken longer to respond, and precious time could have been lost. I can't help but feel for Brandon's family and friends, wondering if having this technology provides any bit of comfort knowing that everything possible is being done to bring some justice and answers. Does anyone know how common ShotSpotter is in these kinds of investigations or if it has significantly helped in other cases around the area?
I was just wondering if anyone local to Saint Louis has noticed any increased police presence on Wilbert Drive since Brandon Ellis’s murder? The police were pretty quick to respond with the ShotSpotter technology, but I'm curious if there's been more patrols or activity in the area now. It must be really unsettling for the neighbors, knowing something so terrible happened right there. My heart goes out to Brandon's family and friends. No one should have to deal with that kind of loss, and I hope the community can rally together to help find the person responsible. If anyone's got insights or just wants to discuss how this technology is changing things in their neighborhoods, I'd be really interested. Stay safe, everyone.
