Nearly two years have passed since that horrible day, and it's hard to imagine the pain his loved ones have gone through. Knowing that Dupree has admitted to the murder and pleaded guilty must bring some sense of closure, yet it doesn't erase the loss or the heartache.
It's really important for the community to continue supporting Southern's family and friends as they navigate this outcome. The sentencing scheduled for October 13 brings hope that justice will be served, but Clifton’s memory and the impact of his life deserve to be honored and remembered beyond this case.
