I'm deeply saddened by the loss of Derrick Brookfield. While the arrest of Cedric Maxwell Jr. is a step toward justice, the fact that an accomplice is still at large is concerning. It speaks volumes about the complexity and far-reaching effects of this crime. It's not just about seeking justice for Derrick anymore; it's also about ensuring that similar incidents do not happen again in the future. I really hope someone out there might have a piece of information that could assist the authorities in catching the missing suspect. Derrick and his loved ones deserve closure, and our community deserves answers. Please, if anyone knows anything, consider reaching out to CrimeStoppers. Every bit helps.
