Hey everyone, I've been following the Shamika Neely case and it's truly devastating. I can't stop thinking about how her family and friends must be feeling right now. The detail that really stands out to me is the other victim, the 30-year-old man who was with her. It’s puzzling that he refused medical treatment. Could there be a particular reason for that? Was he just in shock, or is there more to the story? I know this area in North Pointe has witnessed its share of violence, which makes me wonder about the broader environmental factors at play. Could it have been a random act of violence or something more personal? I'm hoping that the community initiatives gain momentum, and we see some change on the ground.
