I’ve been following the tragic case of Lekeshia Stokes, and I can’t stop thinking about her children. It's hard to imagine the void they must feel without their mom by their side. From what I've read, her younger sister is now raising them, which seems like such a tremendous responsibility. At least they have someone to provide love and stability during such a traumatic time.
I also wonder how the judicial outcomes for the men involved impact the family. While there might be some relief knowing the perpetrators are behind bars, I’m sure it doesn’t ease the daily pain for those left to pick up the pieces. Just hoping they have a strong support system around them. Keeping her family in my thoughts as they continue to navigate through this long journey of healing.
