Hello everyone, I've been following the Nikki Goodchild case closely, and my heart goes out to her family during this incredibly difficult time. I recently read about Joshua Goodchild being declared incompetent to stand trial, and it’s such a complex turn of events. It seems like this case has so many layers, and I imagine it must be incredibly frustrating for Nikki’s loved ones who are seeking justice. With all these developments, I'm curious about the process for determining someone’s competence in such serious cases. Does this decision mean the court will revisit it later to see if he becomes competent, or could this lead to a different legal path entirely? If anyone has experience or insights into how these procedures usually play out, I’d love to hear more. It just feels like such a tangled web, and I really hope they can find a way to bring some resolution for Nikki and her family. Thanks for letting me share. Sending strength and love to everyone affected by this tragedy.
