I've been thinking a lot about the location where Danny E. Scott was found. Eighth Street and Wheeling Avenue isn't exactly a quiet neighborhood, and it's concerning that there aren't any leads. It seems like the kind of area where someone must have seen something, even if it’s just a small detail that doesn't seem important. I hope people in the area are willing to come forward with anything they might have noticed that morning.
It’s so puzzling and upsetting to see these cases remain unsolved. Danny was just 52, and his life was cut short in such a senseless way. I can’t imagine what his family must be going through, not having any answers. If you do know anything, please reach out to the authorities. I've been thinking a lot about Danny E. Scott recently and how scary the circumstances of his murder are. It’s terrifying that something like this happened in broad daylight. I can't imagine what his family must be going through knowing that there's still so much left unanswered. This corner of East Eighth Street and Wheeling Avenue must be haunting for them now.
Kansas City has been dealing with way too much violence, and it’s really alarming. We need to figure out how to support our communities better and prevent this from happening again. I hope anyone with any information that could help the investigation comes forward. Justice for Danny and peace for his loved ones feels so necessary right now.

I've been thinking a lot about why it takes something as tragic as the loss of a life for some of us to truly pay attention. I never knew Danny E. Scott personally, but I've read about what happened to him, and my heart genuinely aches for his friends and family. It’s honestly terrifying to think that someone can just be walking along a sidewalk, like Danny was that day on East Eighth Street, and have their life end so suddenly. What’s haunting is the idea that this happened in broad daylight, yet there’s no one coming forward with solid information. I can't imagine the pain his loved ones must be going through, knowing Danny's killer is still out there somewhere. I really hope someone, anyone, who knows something will finally step up and provide the police with what they need to make an arrest. No one should have to go through what Danny’s family is experiencing — waiting for justice with no answers. Let’s not forget Danny as just another statistic and keep pressing for justice for him and all the other unsolved cases out there.
