Ghanem Abdulla, age 5, was last seen on April 21, 2019, in Oakland, California. His disappearance is believed to be a case of parental abduction following a domestic violence incident between his parents. On the day he vanished, Ghanem’s father told his mother that he was taking their children out to buy new clothes, but he has since refused to respond to calls and messages.
There is speculation that Ghanem and his siblings may be with their father, either in the Oakland area or possibly in Southern California, where the family could be visiting Disneyland.
There are also concerns that Ghanem's father might be planning to take the children to Yemen, his country of origin. Authorities are investigating this possibility, and the father’s vehicle, a 2013 Lincoln MKZ SUV, was identified as having updated rear plates.
