In the spring of 1968, a young woman named Winnefred Jeanette Freeman, age 20, disappeared from Portland, Oregon. On May 8th, she was seen for the last time. Winnefred, a Black female with black hair and brown eyes, stood at 5'4' and weighed around 115 pounds. The last known sighting of her was as she was getting into her blue and white 1964 Chevrolet with a man described as being heavyset and middle-aged.
