Joan Kitson, a 36-year-old woman from Tonawanda, New York, went missing on May 12, 1977. She was last seen leaving work at Sister’s Hospital in Buffalo, where she worked in the auditing department. Joan was confirmed to have clocked out around 4:40 p.m. that day, but she never returned home. Her car, a 1972 sedan, was found locked and undisturbed in the hospital parking garage.
