Edith Gertrude Hillman, a 59-year-old woman, was last seen in Leakesville, Mississippi, on August 23, 1987. Authorities believe she was abducted from her home on a Sunday afternoon. Her son had dinner with her that evening before he left for college. When he returned the following Friday, he found the dinner from Sunday still on the stove. Hillman, who was scheduled to start a new job that Monday, never arrived.
