On February 27, 1990, Mickey Allen Aus, a 35-year-old resident of Glennallen, Alaska, was reported missing under dire circumstances. He was aboard a vessel that was traveling from Blaine, Washington, to its destination in King Cove, Alaska. The boat, carrying Aus and two other individuals, Tracy Hill and David Strom, tragically sank in the treacherous waters of the Gulf of Alaska.
