Michael Penque, a 24-year-old man from Niagara Falls, New York, was last seen on May 31, 1991. On that day, Michael reportedly attempted to swim across the Adams Canal near the Niagara Falls Wastewater Treatment Facility. His girlfriend, Helene Spina, was watching from the shore as he made his way across the water, aiming for a location near the Ontario Hydro Project.
