Efuru, also known by her nickname Vera, was carrying two large bags of clothing and was reportedly on her way to Fayetteville, North Carolina. She has not been seen or heard from since that night, leaving her loved ones in a state of prolonged uncertainty.
At the time of her disappearance, Efuru was described as an African-American woman, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Efuru had several distinct physical characteristics that her family hoped would help in locating her. She had a gold tooth, a scar on her chin, and piercings in her ears and nose. She also had multiple tattoos, including a heart with the name 'Breyuana' inside it, the word 'ten' on her right thigh, and a strawberry on the right side of her abdomen. When she was last seen, she was wearing a gold and diamond 'XO' necklace. The circumstances of her departure, leaving with her boyfriend and taking personal items, initially suggested she might have been planning to relocate or visit someone.
