On a late November evening in 1998, 22-year-old Efuru Denise Perry was last seen in Kinston, North Carolina. It was approximately 11:00 p.m. on November 27th when she was seen leaving with her boyfriend. Efuru, also known by her nickname Vera, was carrying two large bags of clothing and was reportedly on her way to Fayetteville, North Carolina.
