Rosa Alejandra Ramos, a 29-year-old woman from South Gate, California, was last seen on June 23, 2007. On that day, she left her home around 2:00 p.m. to go to a store with her boyfriend, Jose Clain Lopez. However, she never returned, and her whereabouts remain unknown. The next day, June 24, the Madera County Sheriff's Department contacted the South Gate Police Department to inquire about Rosa’s whereabouts, as her family had no information on her location.

During the investigation, authorities stopped a vehicle belonging to Rosa, a 1993 Ford Thunderbird, which was being driven by her boyfriend, Jose Lopez. Inside the vehicle, they discovered a concerning amount of blood, and Lopez himself had blood on his clothing. This led to Lopez being arrested, initially for violating his parole. As the investigation deepened, Lopez became the prime suspect in Rosa's disappearance. Despite not finding her body, he was charged with her murder based on the evidence gathered.

Rosa Ramos' case has remained unsolved for years. She was described as a Hispanic woman with brown hair, brown eyes, and a medium complexion, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds. At the time of her disappearance, she was last seen wearing blue jeans and a brown t-shirt.

Her case remains a cold case, and efforts continue to seek more information regarding her disappearance. Law enforcement and platforms dedicated to missing persons cases still encourage the public to come forward with any tips or information that could help solve the case.
