Iris Ocasio-Martinez, a 39-year-old woman from Buffalo, New York, was last seen on September 15, 2008. A mother of two, Ocasio-Martinez was well-known in her community for being dedicated to her family and her job. On the day of her disappearance, she was last seen leaving her residence in the Black Rock neighborhood of Buffalo.
