The story of Kino Michael Gomez's disappearance began on a summer evening in 2009. A 57-year-old male of Asian descent, Gomez was last officially seen in Okanogan, Washington, on July 30, 2009. Prior to this date, Gomez, a Seattle city engineer, was involved in a tragic incident at the Blue Spruce Motel in Twisp, Washington, on July 17, 2009.
