Maereg Tesfaye Tafesse, a 24-year-old man originally from Ethiopia, was last seen in Seattle, Washington, on March 3, 2018. Maereg came to the United States in 2012 to attend school in Massachusetts, but by 2018, he was living in Seattle and had also spent time in Oregon and California. On March 2, 2018, Maereg contacted his family, telling them that he planned to leave the U.S., but no further details were provided, and this was the last known communication from him.
