In the winter of 2013, the life of 33-year-old Travis Jermaine Allen took a turn that left his family and friends in a state of prolonged uncertainty. He was last seen in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on December 27, 2013, in the 4900 block of Jean Street. At the time of his disappearance, Travis was wearing a black fleece jacket or vest and blue jeans. He is described as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes, standing at 6 feet tall and weighing between 175 and 195 pounds. Distinctive features that might help identify him include several tattoos: "Nun Son" on his left forearm, "Flood City" on his elbows, "Troy" on his inner left forearm, and "Anethra" on the left side of his chest. The days following Travis's last sighting were filled with growing concern as he did not make contact with his loved ones. This uncharacteristic silence prompted his family to report him missing. The Baton Rouge Police Department opened an investigation into his disappearance, but details surrounding the circumstances of his case have remained scarce. In an effort to generate leads and locate him, search efforts were organized. In January 2014, the non-profit organization Texas EquuSearch coordinated a search for Travis, deploying volunteers on foot and on ATVs. Despite these dedicated efforts, the searches did not yield any significant information that could lead to his whereabouts. Years have passed since Travis Allen was last seen, and his case remains an open and unresolved missing person investigation. The lack of any substantial leads or new information has left his family with unanswered questions and a void that cannot be filled. The Baton Rouge Police Department continues to be the primary agency handling his case, and they encourage anyone with information to come forward. The overview of this case is one of a sudden and unexplained disappearance that, despite initial search efforts and ongoing investigation, has left a family waiting for answers for over a decade.
