On March 15, 2019, a concerned individual reported that his 17-year-old brother, Jose Galindo Vasquez Mendez, was missing from their residence at 3901 12th Avenue in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Jose had recently traveled from Guatemala to the United States, with an unknown man covering his travel expenses, approximately $2,000.
