Joshua Sneed, a 22-year-old man, was last seen on June 6, 2019, in DeLand, Florida. He left his residence in the Laura Villas apartment complex around 6:00 p.m. to visit a nearby convenience store to purchase cigarettes. Authorities suspect that after leaving the store, Sneed may have gotten into a dark-colored, newer model vehicle, possibly with a Hispanic male. His whereabouts have remained unknown since that evening.
Sneed, known by the nickname "Black," frequented certain areas of DeLand, including the Bruten Compound and Sha D Land neighborhoods. His disappearance has puzzled investigators as there has been no activity on his social media accounts, and no substantial leads have surfaced. Despite thorough searches and investigations, the case remains unsolved.
At the time of his disappearance, Sneed was described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 160 pounds. He was soft-spoken and had a stocky build, with short, wavy hair. His family and the DeLand Police Department continue to seek any information that may help uncover his fate.
