On a summer day in June 2020, a 24-year-old Indonesian student named Vincent Renaldo Djie, who was living in Seattle, embarked on a solo hike in the vast wilderness of Mount Rainier National Park in Washington. On June 19th, he was last seen on the Van Trump Trail, heading towards Mildred Point. He was reportedly wearing a red t-shirt, which he may have had off at the time, black sports shorts, and Merrell Moab 2 hiking shoes.
