Michael Howard Havekost, aged 52, was last seen on September 4, 2020, at the Day N Night Inn in Killeen, Texas. After losing his job during the pandemic, his sister had been paying for his extended stay at the hotel. When she visited on September 7 and again on September 14, the hotel staff reported they hadn't seen him in days. Havekost left behind personal items including his wallet, glasses, and hearing aids. His disappearance is considered suspicious, and his case remains unsolved.
