Brian Thomas Vargo, a 20-year-old University of Texas at Austin student, was last seen on March 9, 1976. Vargo, who had been struggling academically, withdrew from his classes that day without informing his family. He reportedly told friends he was heading to Colorado to work at a dude ranch and was last known to be driving a white Mazda RX2.
