Joseph Mora, a 41-year-old commercial fisherman, disappeared on June 2, 1978, from Bradenton, Florida. Mora regularly worked on fishing boats that docked in areas such as Key West and Cortez, but curiously, his boat remained in its usual place when he went missing. Despite extensive searches by his family, which spanned multiple states and even several countries, no trace of him has been found.
