In the fall of 2010, a sense of unease settled over the community of Elizabethton, Tennessee, with the disappearance of 27-year-old Thomas Patrick Crowley. A man described as standing six feet tall and weighing around 235 pounds, with blond or strawberry-blond hair and blue eyes, Thomas was a noticeable presence.
