Kaya Centeno, 8 years old at the time, went missing from Rohnert Park, California, around March 1, 2011. Her disappearance only came to light years later, in 2020, during an investigation into allegations of abuse involving her younger siblings. Kaya had been withdrawn from her second-grade class at John Reed Elementary School during the 2010-2011 school year, purportedly to be homeschooled.
