Ebrahim Pouldar, a 56-year-old man from Los Angeles, was last seen on July 28, 2016, in the 10000 block of Wilkins Avenue. He left for work that morning but never returned. His brother reported him missing on August 6. Five days later, on August 11, Pouldar's borrowed gray Honda Civic was found abandoned near Hosp Grove Park in Carlsbad, California, which is about a two-hour drive from Los Angeles. The car had reportedly been there since July 30.
On August 17, Pouldar's wallet, keys, and pants were discovered in some brush near the Buena Vista Lagoon in Carlsbad, further deepening the mystery. Despite a search, no additional clues were found, and his whereabouts remain unknown. Pouldar's family mentioned he had no health issues or any apparent reason to go missing, though he was known to enjoy alcohol and gambling. The circumstances of his disappearance are considered suspicious, and the case remains unsolved.
