Ruben Dario Paz Gomez, a 25-year-old Guatemalan national, was last seen on July 4, 2019, near Falfurrias, Texas. Ruben had been traveling as part of an undocumented migrant group attempting to cross into the United States. According to reports, he sent a text message to a friend indicating that he was in the Falfurrias area and was struggling to continue due to feeling unwell and unable to walk. His last communication raised concerns as it suggested he was in distress.
