In the summer of 2024, the life of 19-year-old Martavius Williams was tragically cut short. On June 15, 2024, in Birmingham, Alabama, Williams was killed in a shootout near East Lake Park. The incident, which resulted in Williams' death and injuries to two other individuals, involved more than 50 shots being fired and a car crashing through a park fence.
