She was captured on surveillance footage at a Shell gas station on Criner Street around 10:35 p.m. wearing a navy blue long-sleeve shirt, black pants, multicolored shoes, and carrying a red plaid purse. After leaving the gas station, she was never seen or heard from again.
On February 11, her vehicle, a metallic blue Mazda CX-5, was discovered abandoned along Interstate 35 near Waco, Texas, approximately 35 miles from where she was last seen. The car remained at the location for a few days before it was towed on February 15, but there was no sign of Cynthia at the scene.
At the time of her disappearance, Cynthia lived in Crowley, Texas, and was navigating a divorce. Her sudden disappearance remains a mystery, and the Crowley Police Department, along with the FBI, is investigating the case.
